Automating a Talent Pipeline with Capita and Essex County Council
Working alongside Capita, Candidate.ID was able to help Essex County Council to maximise their recruitment drive and automate their talent pipeline for the recruitment of social workers. These roles were hard to fill, due to:
– The limited relationships with 270 candidates on the database
– No regular engagement
– No idea which people were interested
Using Candidate.ID to send unique content to candidates in the campaign allowed the team at Capita to see how engaged each candidate was and who was most likely to be open to a conversation. Having Candidate.ID distribute the content and track engagement ensured that when an opportunity arose, the team at Capita were talking to the right people at the right time.
Throughout the duration of the campaign, Capita reduced hard-to-fill vacancies by 75%, experienced candidate engagement of 83.5% (27% were highly engaged) and made 6 hires during a 6-week period.
Although not solely responsible, Candidate.ID was able to help:
– Reduce hard-to-fill vacancies by 75%
– Successfully fill 98% of 137 permanent roles using direct fill
– Achieve a time-to-hire period of 20 days
– Reduce reliance on agency staff from 40% to 15%
Scot McRae, Co-Founder of Candidate.ID, was recently joined on a webinar by Richard Hutchinson, Talent and Innovation Director at Capita. Watch the full half-hour session here as they explain the importance of not only building a talent pipeline that adds value but nurturing each candidate with unique, relevant content.
